Eataly Italian Restaurant with Interior Waterproofing

Eataly Los Angeles is a prime location for anyone with a passion for Italian food. Featuring authentic Italian restaurants, takeaway counters, cafes, a sprawling market, and cooking classes, Eataly LA has something for everyone.

Problem

After Eataly’s New York great success they choose to expand into Los Angeles. The issues they faced was that the store was going to be on a second and third story of a building, they wanted to take all precautions to ensure the there was no type of water damage, that could cause issues for them or the stores below.

Solution

Studios an Architect Firm in Los Angeles reached out to our Westcoat representative Mallory Cabading to begin the waterproofing process. Working with Studios and Eco Construction we utilized a plan and moved forward with Westcoat’s MACoat waterproof concrete system with Custom Finish. This was determined to be the best option to prevent any possible damage while maintaining the style that Eataly LA is known for.
