Westcoat Specialty Coating Systems Sales Representative is a full-time position based at representative’s assigned region with an approximate 75% of travel anticipated to assigned or neighboring territories to pursue and support sales initiatives, attend or host tradeshows or demos, or to respective projects to provide technical & product support.

Annual Salary: $75,000-$125,000, depending on location and experience

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the strategic sales plan with the Director of Territory Sales to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development to pursue and convert leads, providing feedback to optimize prospecting.
  • Maintain professional relationships with various customer groups, including distributors, architects, and property managers.
  • Work with other departments to meet sales objectives, support marketing campaigns, and resolve technical issues.
  • Report market conditions, competitive pricing, and programs during monthly check-ins.
  • Coordinate and present AIA-approved Architectural CEU courses for divisions 03, 07, and 09.
  • Participate in regional and national industry shows like World of Concrete and CACM.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop Westcoat specifications and drive product adoption.
  • Use Sugar CRM to document territory activities, manage accounts, and track opportunities.
  • Manage your calendar to prioritize and complete sales activities efficiently.
  • Adhere to the territory expense budget and ensure proper expenditure reporting through SAP/Concur.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, with proven sales and customer relationship experience.
  • Skilled in identifying and engaging potential customers through prospecting and networking.
  • Expertise in creating impactful presentations and demonstrating product features.
  • Proven ability to convert leads into sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for maintaining long-term customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in clear, effective written and verbal communication.
  • Competent in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
  • Strong focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Flexible and creative in navigating unstructured environments.
  • Strong time management skills for handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Brings energy and enthusiasm to the role.
