Fresh Concrete for Del Taco Mexican Grill

New Del Taco prototype restaurants are popping up all over the country featuring a contemporary and colorful design that can be customized per location. Roy at Surface Prep Systems had a project located on Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach, California. He reached out to Bill England, Orange County Rep, to alert him to the new project.  

The floor was straightforward, but Roy and his team wanted some extra guidance for the cement cove. Bill headed over to Surface Preps warehouse and did a demo for the crew showing them how Westcoat TC-30 Slope Mix can be used to make a cove at the floor to wall interface. 

Bill and Roy worked together to get the scope of the work dialed in and approved by Del Taco. Westcoat Fast Stain Polish system was installed in the dining areas while Fast Stain Grind and Seal with SC-67 (now SC-65 Clear) was installed in the restrooms. The cement cove can be seen throughout both areas.
