Default Westcoat Wax

Used the product for the first time on an interior decorative floor project... The stuff worked great! Applied 2 coats with a lambskin applicator... Gave me a nice increase in gloss and a smooth finish... We are adding it to our care and maint instruction sheet that we give clients at completion of projects

Default CA-26 wax

Bill,
I've been sitting on 8 gallons of the wax..... hesitant to apply over my expensive polyurethane. I applied about 1800 sq./ft of EC 95 and am watching it closely for performance. The " other guy's" moisture cure 40% solids polyurethane performed miserably after less than a year. I am concerned about the amount of maintenance required on the 26. Keep me posted on the performance. Also, what were your coverage rates on the wax per coat ? How many coats ? Did you buff it ? Did you use it 100% or thin it ?

Thanks for the update.

It seems to be doing well so far... We did apply full strength, about 800 to 1000 sft per gal. 3 coats... buffed with a white pad after coat 2 and 3...

I am still looking for a product to maintain wax between coats... Westcoat had a Floor Revive product for between waxings that they stopped selling...

Ideally something that I could point homeowner or light commercial owner to that would protect between waxings... I'll have to check my seminar notes from WOC2008... beleive that there was a Johnson product that handled both...
